Review and Report Rules
Last updated: 05/11/2026
Who can review
- Only the host of a completed booking can review the supplier they booked, once per booking.
- The supplier can reply to a review once.
- Reviews and replies appear on the supplier's public profile once the supplier is verified.
What a review should be
- An honest account of your own experience.
- Free of phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles and other contact details. Contact details are hidden from public reviews.
- Free of harassment, threats, hateful content and statements you know to be false.
Reviews describe a completed booking between a host and supplier. QuoteMyEvent may moderate platform content, but does not decide disputes over the quality, cancellation, payment or refund of the supplier's event services. Those issues remain between the host and supplier, subject to their legal rights.
How we moderate
- An administrator can hide a review or reply that breaks these rules, and can restore it later. Reviews are hidden, not deleted, and every decision is recorded with a reason.
- A report is a request for us to look. It is not proof of wrongdoing, and we do not treat it as such.
Reporting
Photographs on a supplier's profile can be reported from the photograph itself; see the Photo Rights page.
